Dr. Saggar is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of infectious diseases, from such common ailments as the flu, chicken pox, shingles, tuberculosis, and bacterial skin infections to complex, rare viruses as Zika, Ebola, and COVID19.
If you tune in to Fox 5 News at 5 p.m., you might catch Dr. Saggar delivering the medical headlines. He regularly discusses up-to-the minute health information, exciting research findings, and the latest advances in health screenings and medical technology.
Dr. Saggar has been on staff at Holy Name since 2007, with an office in Englewood. Dr. Saggar earned his osteopathic medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency and fellowship in infectious diseases at Saint Michael's Medical Center in Newark, N.J. He participates in numerous clinical trials, and he has conducted clinical research at the National Institutes of Health and as a Merck Research Fellow.
